West Kent Radio has been licensed by Ofcom to provide a community radio service to the people of Southborough, Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and surrounding villages. It is a not-for-profit, charitable organisation run by volunteers. Hendy Foundation helped fund broadcast equipment for the station in 2020 and in 2024 provided a second grant for additional equipment.
