Gift of Sight raises funds to support world-class eye research at the University of Southampton. A grant from Hendy Foundation funded two iPads which are used to help treat children with amblyopia – lazy eye. Instead of regular eye appointments the iPads can be used to monitor changes in visual acuity and these are being lent to children whose families are not able to afford this technology.
