Hospital Radio Plymouth has been broadcasting for more than 50 years and is totally run by volunteers. A grant from Hendy Foundation has enabled the station to purchase licences, and equipment to continue its amazing work.
The station operates 24/7 on FM and online to patients, their friends and families and the wider community.
Volunteers said that funds from Hendy Foundation have been instrumental in enabling the station to stay on the air providing entertainment and companionship to the lonely, vulnerable, sick and the local community.
