Dorset Mind aims to create a community where living with and talking about mental health becomes acceptable for everyone.
“This generous grant will help fund our Connected Minds service in Wimborne for a year – it’s an early intervention service that supports children and young people with complex emotional needs. Children who attend our Connected Minds programme struggle with school attendance, classroom engagement and peer/social interactions due to barriers caused by symptoms of mental health illness, such as anxiety and depression. The project runs three programmes per year, supporting up to 45 young people.”
