Proceeds from the Hendy Foundation Birthday Auction were all directed to foodbanks and community pantries and one of these grants was awarded to CASE Central, a charity which aims to prevent and alleviate poverty and promote social welfare.
Community Advice Support Education (CASE) is a small community based charity located in East Hollingdean, one of the most socially deprived areas in the City of Brighton & Hove. It is run entirely by volunteers, and most of these volunteers are drawn from the local neighbourhood, and know from their own personal experience the problems of living on little or no money.
