The Youth Counselling Project provides specialist counselling for children in Seaford, East Sussex who are facing mental health difficulties (including anxiety, low mood, self-harm and eating disorders) who would not otherwise be able to access treatment. It aims to address issues at their earliest possible stage to enable clients to fulfil their potential and to improve their life chances.
The charity works in partnership with schools, who make referrals to the project.
Two grants from Hendy Foundation helped fund counselling sessions for children.
